1.Job Title: Coordinator - Gender Transformative Evaluation

About the Role

The organisation is seeking a Coordinator – Gender Transformative Evaluation to lead the coordination and growth of its flagship gender-transformative evaluation training programs, strengthen institutional linkages with key government bodies, and build revenue-generating partnerships for customized short-term courses. This role sits at the intersection of program management, institutional relationship-building, and capacity-building offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Flagship Course Coordination

• Plan, organize, and manage the end-to-end delivery of the organisation's two flagship courses – Facilitating Gender Transformative Evaluation (FGTE) for early career and senior professionals, including scheduling, faculty coordination, participant enrolment, logistics of the hybrid mode of delivery, participant engagement, retention and post-course evaluation.
• Maintain and continuously improve course curricula in consultation with resource persons and technical experts.
• Track course outcomes, collect participant feedback, and prepare reports on course impact and learning outcomes.
• Manage relationships with faculty, guest speakers, and resource persons associated with the courses.

2. Institutional Linkages – DMEO, NITI Aayog & Government Bodies

• Build and nurture strategic relationships with DMEO (Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office), NITI Aayog, and other relevant government departments/ministries.
• Represent the organisation in relevant forums, meetings, and consultations related to gender-transformative evaluation and monitoring frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration, co-branded programs, or technical partnerships with government evaluation bodies.
• Stay updated on government evaluation policy frameworks and priorities relevant to gender-responsive M&E.

 

3.  Expansion of the capacity Building portfolio – Tailor-Made Short-Term Courses

• Design and pitch customised, short-term training courses on gender-transformative evaluation for diverse audiences, including CSR teams/corporate foundations, colleges and universities, and government departments and public institutions.
• Develop outreach strategies and proposals to convert interest into signed engagements/MoUs.
• Coordinate the design, pricing, and delivery of these tailored courses in collaboration with the technical/training team.
• Build a pipeline of institutional clients and maintain a tracker of leads, partnerships, and renewals.

 

4. General Program & Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with internal teams (finance, communications, technical) to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Support documentation, knowledge management, and dissemination of course/program learnings.
• Contribute to donor reports, proposals, and organisational communication materials related to the evaluation training portfolio.
• Manage the digital platform through which the online course is delivered – explore and identify effedtive economical learning platforms

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in supporting or coordinating evaluation programs, preferably in gender, development, or social sector evaluation.
• Preference will be given to alumni of the FGTE (Facilitating Gender Transformative Evaluation) course.
• Demonstrated understanding of gender-transformative approaches to monitoring and evaluation.
• Prior experience engaging with government bodies (e.g., NITI Aayog, DMEO, line ministries) is highly desirable.
• Experience in business development, partnership-building, or institutional fundraising is a strong plus.
• Postgraduate degree in Development Studies, Gender Studies, Public Policy, Social Work, Evaluation, or a related field.

 

Skills & Competencies

• Strong program/project coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities, including with senior government officials.
• Managing Digital Platforms for online course delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft proposals and reports.
• Comfort working with both technical (evaluation) content and business development/outreach.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.

2. Job Title: Maths and Science Teacher

About the Organization

The Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST) is a not-for-profit organization registered as a Charitable Trust in 1980. Over the years, ISST has been working to visualize and address gendered dimensions of labour through a critical, public-spirited inquiry and a gender-transformative approach, necessary to build a just and equitable society.

For over 20 years, the organization has been carrying out a community action program through its community centre, Saathi, located at Kalyanpuri Police Station of East Delhi, and caters to the children of neighbouring communities of Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri and Khichripur.

One of the critical areas of the work is the learning centre where children in the age group of 3 to 19 years are provided a safe space to learn and explore their full potential.

We are looking for a young teacher who is passionate about making maths and science learning fun for young children.

 

The job entails:

· Developing gender-sensitive teaching-learning materials for Maths and Science for Classes 8–10.

· Developing a monthly and weekly plan of teaching in consultation with the other team members

· Having a basic understanding of gender transformative approach and incorporating these perspectives sensitively in classroom teaching and activities

· Maintaining regular records of student-wise improvements

· Designing periodic events/activities to enable children to express their understanding of maths and science to their parents and community members

· Promoting confidence among children around maths and science learning

· Undertaking community visits, community events, meetings and follow-ups to mobilise students and community members

· Providing vocational counselling to students of classes 9th to 12th and their parents when required especially in STEM

· Undertaking report writing for work done, including reflective writing and case studies

· Assisting in research and program activities, if required

The person shall report to the programme Coordinator, Saathi Centre, and be regularly guided by the senior team.

 

Essential Criteria:

· Graduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or related discipline.

· At least 2–3 years of teaching experience in community-based learning centers, affordable private schools, or government schools.

· Sound knowledge and experience in teaching Mathematics and Science to students in Classes 9–12.

· Basic understanding of gender, gender equality, and inclusion, with the ability to apply a gender-transformative approach in teaching and interactions with children.

· Ability to facilitate group activities and create an engaging learning environment.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Hindi.

· Ability to independently lead projects and complete assigned targets within timelines.

· Hardworking, committed, and responsible.

· Living within 3–5 kms of the Saathi Centre

· Sound knowledge and understanding in counselling

· Interest in working with children from marginalized communities and community development work.
